Start Without A Referral

In Illinois you can start without a referral.

Illinois Direct Access lets you see a licensed physical therapist with no doctor's referral, up to 10 visits or 15 business days, whichever comes first. You can call today and be evaluated this week. If your care needs to continue past that window, we help you get the referral signed so nothing stops.

Insurance is the next question, and the short answer is that we are in network with Blue Cross Blue Shield, PPO plans and Medicare. Coverage still varies plan to plan, so call us and we will verify your benefits before your first visit.

We Run the Check

Our office manager verifies your plan directly with the carrier: in-network status, visit limits, deductible, copay and any prior authorization your plan requires.

We Call You Back

You hear what your plan covers before you commit to anything. If something is unclear or the carrier gives us a vague answer, we say so rather than guess.

Insurance answers that circulate online, including some that circulated on our own older pages, do not always match what your plan says today. Call us and we will verify your benefits before your first visit.

Direct Access Has Limits

Ten visits or 15 business days, whichever comes first. After that a physician referral keeps your care going, and we help you get it.

In Network Is Not Universal

We are in network with BCBS, PPO plans and Medicare, but individual plans inside those networks differ. Yours gets checked on its own.

Medicare Has Its Own Rules

Medicare covers physical therapy under documentation requirements that differ from commercial plans. That paperwork is handled on our end.
