Mateusz Zapotoczny

Physical Therapist, PT, DPT

Mateusz Zapotoczny, known to most as Matt, is a dedicated Physical Therapist with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Northwestern University (Class of 2020). Since graduating, he has worked in a variety of outpatient clinics, treating nearly all orthopedic diagnoses across the lifespan. While his experience spans a broad range of patient populations, Matt has a strong interest and focus on working with high-level athletes.

He brings specialized expertise through his certifications in Applied Functional Science (CAFS) and Level 1 Dry Needling with Myopain, and is actively growing his skillset to move further into on-field injury prevention and sports rehab. His experience includes work with the Association of Volleyball Professionals (AVP), multiple running clinics for the Chicago Marathon and other races, as well as providing support at CrossFit competitions—giving him a well-rounded background in sports performance and recovery.

A proud Chicago native from the Southwest Side, Matt’s passion for physical therapy was sparked during his time as a Chicago Bulls ballboy for the last 16 years, where he got a firsthand look at the power of elite-level sports medicine. Outside the clinic, he enjoys spending time with his partner by exploring new restaurants, traveling the world, and spending time with their dog, Addie, and cat, Beau.
